Faith3 is an all female gospel vocal band composed of three gifted ladies, Racheal Malambo who does Soprano and Alto; Chomba Chilombo an Alto and Soprano; and Memory Mangambwa the Contra alto.
Together, they do tight harmonies as their beautiful voices blend to deliver soul inspiring pieces that leave the listener refreshed and yearning for more.
Even though they first started to sing together 12 years ago, they took an involuntary musical break for some time. But their abiding love for music saw them reunite recently. Performing at public events and in churches their distinctive deliveries deserve to be heard everywhere.
Today, 21st October 2018, they release their first single, their cover of No Longer A Slave (to fear), originally written by Brian Johnson, Jonathan David Helser, Joel Case and released in 2015 under Bethel Music. The song will do a radio premier on Radio Phoenix at 07.30 hours on 20th October 2018. Get the new song here.
Some have said FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real. Sometimes, we fail to achieve what we are capable of achieving simply because of fear. Fear to fail, fear of the unknown, fear of even what we know might go wrong! Bob Marley sang “My fear is my only courage…” This song is a bold statement of defiance against the very idea of fear. Nothing can be more powerful, more inspiring, than an attitude of optimism in the face of challenges. The belief that somehow, everything will be fine. As a nation, and as individuals we are often on the crossroads yet we often fail to progress because of fear. So if we may preach, (can you allow us to preach?), we are no longer slaves to fear! We can go out in faith and put in our best foot, the very best of our efforts to achieve.
